2016 Reading Challenge


JANUARY 1st, 2017 UPDATE: Well, I was SO close, but ended up being 4 books shy of my goal! 46 books in a year is still pretty good though! I'm proud of myself! How'd you do with your reading goal? :)

When asked for writing advice, a lot of writers encourage fellow aspiring writers to read as much as possible. In fact, I think this is probably the most common piece of advice given.

I've always loved this particular piece of advice, especially since I'm an avid reader and can think of no greater joy than losing myself in a piece of fiction.

In the past, I've tracked all the books I've read over short periods of time and really enjoyed the thrill of adding another book to my list. So, since it's the start of a brand new year, I thought it would be fun to track how many books I can read throughout the entire year. My goal is to read at least 50 books in 2016. What's YOUR reading goal?
