For those of you that don't know me, my name is Kim Chance and I'm the author of the upcoming contemporary fantasy novel, KEEPER! I'm your hostess for this leg of the hunt! :)
Here's a few fun facts about me:
1. I love to sing broadway showtunes (very loudly!) while I'm cleaning and doing laundry.
2. I'm a former high school English teacher and a stay at home mom! I have five year old twin girls and a 3-month old son!
3. I have an obsession with red lipstick! I don't feel like myself without it!
4. One of my favorites numbers is 29--mainly because it makes me think of my husband! (It's his birthday!)
5. My first car was a 1986 Ford Crown Victoria. It was maroon and I called it "The Tank"!

Hi Yashers! I'm so glad you're checking out the exclusive content from Tide & Anchored. Tyler, a surfer, learns never to trust a mermaid's kiss in the two book Sea & Sand series about forbidden love, an angry sea king, and a group of friends trying to solve a mystery.
I've been told TIDE is a very atmospheric novel. Makes sense since it takes place on the moody, rocky shores of far northeast shores of the U.S. I live in sunny California, so to keep my head in the gloomy game, I curated a Pinterest board that I want to share with you.
Although Land's End is a fictional town, I've spent a lot of time in New England, Maine in particular. If you've never been, don't worry, it's not gloomy all the time. In fact, it's one of the most beautiful places I've been—and I've traveled a lot.
I also surf, riding a long board, which is a bit different than Tyler and his short board skills. Although the water up north is very chilly, people do surf year round, provided they have lots of protection. I've yet to see a mermaid when I'm out on water, but you never know! If I do, I'll consider myself very lucky.
